Traveller 1 CFM (ET1CFM) is a very compact, high performance data acquisition and analog signal conditioning system. The Traveller 1 CFM system can be used for static and dynamic applications in experimental stress analysis, e.g. to measure analog signals from strain gauges in all common bridge configurations, strain gauge based transducers, potentiometers and general voltage sources, and also to measure asynchronous digital signals up to 4 bits from any type of sensors with digital output.
The system uses one connector for each analog channel to simplify the wiring, thus reducing wiring errors and potential damage.The Traveller 1 CFM with its possibility of wireless data transfer (PCM) is an excellent choice for mobile applications on board of any kind of vehicles, aircrafts and sea-going crafts, moving machinery, and the like.
Using a special "ESAM" software, the ET1CFM system allows for configuration and control of all parameters of each individual conditioning channel, A/D converting mode, trigger mode, sampling frequency and data transfer from the host computer via USB 2.0 communication interface, thus reducing the time and risk of faulty configurations and connections. This software works flawlessly under Windows® systems e.g. 2000, XP or Vista. ET1CFM was designed for excellent shock and vibration resistance consistent with EMI and RFI.

- Sample rate from the range 0,0007 to 100000 samples per second per channel. Maximum generated throughput is up to 3200000 samples per second per entire system.
- Up to 10 units can be connected in master/slave network mode.
- Simultaneous Sample & Hold circuit with anti-aliasing filter and 16-bits A/D conversion chip for each analog channel.
- Digital real time filtering of measurement signals - FIR filters.
- Strain gauges, strain-gauge-based transducers, potentiometers, voltage sources, thermocouples, ICP piezoelectric sensors, sources of digital signals and other types of transducers can be connected to the inputs of appropriate system board.
- High level voltage sources, thermocouples and ICP piezoelectric sensors can be connected to the inputs of strain gauge amplifiers board using special optional input adapters.
- Built-in Real Time Clock (RTC) generator with long life battery keeping circuit.

Traveller Static family.
The Traveller Static (ETS) is a data acquisition system intended for static and slow varying signals measuring applications.Important features:
- Up to 128 inputs of conditioned analog channels in single housing cabinet
- Measurement of signals with frequency band up to 10Hz.
- Software selectable sampling rate from the range 0.002 to 100 samples/sec for each analog channel.
- High precision, low noise 16-bits A/D converter on each analog board using programmable averaging method filter to reduce noise of converted signal.
- Strain gauges (full bridges, half, quarter 120R and 350R) and strain-gauge-based transducers, potentiometers, high level voltage sources, PT100 transducers could be connected to the inputs of appropriate input board.
- High level voltage sources, thermocouples and ICP piezoelectric sensors can be connected to the inputs of strain gauge amplifiers board via special input adapters.
- USB 2.0 interface to transfer data/commands to/from the system.

Instrumentation amplifier SGA0B.
The SGA0B strain gauge input signal conditioning amplifier is a precise, wide-band, fully programmable instrumentation amplifier for strain gauges, strain gauge based transducers, potentiometers and voltage sources. SGA0B is a stand-alone, single-channel unit with built-in USB interface which allows the user to configure conditioner from any computer using special settings program.Most important features of SGA0B:
- Internal half bridge completion resistors for 120-, 350- and 1000- strain gauges.
- Built-in shunt calibration circuit.
- DC or AC input coupling.
- Fully programmable and stored in a non-volatile EEPROM memory the following settings and values: bridge excitation, gain, low-pass filter, calibration type, bridge balance and DC/AC coupling.
- Frequency bandwidth more than 100kHz for all gain settings.
- USB 2.0 interface with drivers, DLL library and the test program are working correctly in Windows® systems environment.
Traveller plus family.
The Traveller plus (ETplus) is a high performance, versatile data acquisition and analog signal conditioning system.Important features:
- Individual input cards for strain gauges (quarter, half, full bridges of 120R and 350R), strain-gauge-based transducers, potentiometers and others.
- Voltage sources, thermocouples and ICP piezoelectric sensors can be connected to the inputs of amplifier cards via special input adapters.
- 8 channels in single housing cabinet. Maximum number of 64 channels per entire system.
- Programmable throughput rate up to 250 kSamples/sec for entire system.
- Built-in anti-aliasing filters: Butterworth, 5-pole, with cut-off frequency selectable separately for each analog channel.
- Built-in optional Real Time Clock (RTC) generator with long life battery keeping circuit.
- Internal MMC/SD Flash Card memory (optional, typically 1GB card installed in the factory) to store converted data stream if the device is used to make measurements in local mode.

Specialist measuring software.
With Traveller family of acquisition systems strongly cooperates ESAM program, made by SOFTEX firm. It is a high level sophisticated software designed for measurement and analysis of data.By means of ESAM program user may:
- Set general settings: language, printer, test number.
- Prepare test and its parameters: sampling frequency, number of used channels etc.
- Set every channel: gain, excitation, filter, type of strain gage bridge, ...
- Use databases of strain gages and other types of transducers (e.g. thermocouples, LVDT-s).
- Prepare acquisition, set triggers and monitoring windows.
- Perform acquisition via USB or Ethernet interface with storing data to disk or RAM memory.
- Do post-measurement filtration, arithmetic, resolve rosettes.
- Use special functions to process measured signals.
- Select time intervals (manually or automatically) for data processing and presentation .
- Calculate statistical parameters, perform classification and cycles counting.
- Display data as plots on time, angle or other parameter basis.
- Make frequency analysis with 2D or 3D results presentation.
- Print results on the prepared page templates.
- Make ASCII, nSoft, RPC III, DiaDem and UFF data export.
- Copy, backup, restore data of tests and configurations.
- Delete unwanted data.

Drivers, DLL's and test programs.Please select and mouse click on the LOAD link in the table below to download required driver version. Note - 32-bits version of Windows® Vista drivers work correctly in Windows® 7 environment, too. Please read hints in ReadMe.txt file inside driver packet.
Each measuring system or device can be tested using adequate test program and special DLL library. Required type of test program mentioned above, can be selected and downloaded from the list below. Those programs should be used to check the basic functionality of particular measuring system only. Please unzip the package of selected and downloaded zip file to any empty directory on HDD of your PC. To start the test program, please double click on the apriopriate exe file inside this directory.

Some info about...
ZAE "ATA" s.c. is a privately owned company, established in February 1991 by two very experienced diplom engineers to produce, sell and support measuring systems. Our measurement devices can be used for static and dynamic mobile and stationary applications in experimental stress analysis, e.g. to measure analog signals from strain gauges in all common bridge configurations, strain gauge based transducers,
potentiometers, any type of voltage sources, and also to measure direct asynchronous/synchronous digital signals from any type of sensors with such type of signal output. Many years ago we have started on the market with relatively simple A/D converting board mounted inside PC computer. But now, we produce a range of measure devices or systems using advanced technology in design. Our systems are used in architecture, aviation, sport (e.g. in tests of Formula I bolids), automobile industry and in many other fields of engineering activity in a lot of countries of the world. At the moment we are highly experienced in the following technical domains:
- Software - writting high performance Windows® drivers for any types of devices (e.g. using USB, RS232C, Ethernet interfaces), special DLL's and high level application in C/C++ language, embedded programming of any kind of microcontrollers in assembler or C/C++ languages.
- Hardware - designing of specialized instrumentation amplifiers, building the embedded microcontroller circuits (e.g. using AVR, ARM families of microcontrollers), digital FPGA designs, A/D converting boards with analog and digital filtering of conditioned signals, hardware interfaces (e.g. USB, ECP/EPP, RS232C, Ethernet, PCM) and many many others.
